We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer to perform the following activities: Support the set of processes used to measure and assure the quality of a product ensuring products and services meet consumer expectations. Performing Incoming inspection activities using industry appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions and examining functionality, using gauges such as calipers, micrometers and microscope to measure products characteristics. During manufacturing activities, perform Quality Control check, as per internal Work Order, making sure also that products adhere to standards and procedures and comply with applicable requirements. Reviewing blueprints and specifications to compare to produced goods. Recording inspection results by completing reports summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database, where needed. Supporting PA activities, in coordination with the Quality Team and Production, for NCR management. Monitoring the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and discard any that do not meet requirements. Supporting and monitoring calibration activities, keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs. Collecting and compiling statistical quality data for calibration purpose. What are we looking for in you? Experience and competencies Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control role At least 2 years of experience in the Space and Defence Industry Knowledge of NCR management tools Knowledge of SAP or similar Education: Technical High School Diploma Degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineer Good communication and organizational skills Goal-oriented approach Proactive to solution Teamwork Time and priorities management Adaptability and flexibility Ability to do work independently Languages: English (fluent, oral and written) Why would you take the plunge?
