For Smart Building Division wer are looking for a Qulaity Control Manager based in our plant in Santa Palomba.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Assure that products and systems meet stated requirements in a cost effective and safe working environment within the local business.
Develop and implement standards and test methods to ensure performance and quality.
- Main Accountabilities:
- Ensure the local organization has the necessary hardware and software capability to assure products and systems meet specified requirements and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with engineering and R&D staff to develop production control requirements and process control plans for internal and external productions as necessary to assure the integrity of new products, or new functionality for existing products.
- Guarantee quality controls are in place through production processes, keeping processes under control monitoring Quality KPI and using Statistical Process Control analysis.
Provide support to other functional teams as needed to establish incoming test protocols and to perform PPAP and First Article Inspections.
- Ensure data are available according to ABB QO guidelines.
Ensure quality certification for testing machinery and gauges and calibration procedures.
- In alignment with HSE personnel, implement and ensure that safety systems are in place, known, and utilized by assigned personnel resulting in an accident-free workplace
- Lead product&process continuous improvement stream, overseeing the relevant dedicated teams aiming to constantly improve quality performances&relevant KPIs, customer satisfaction and reduction of scraps.
- Manage audits made by third party entities ensuring alignment with needed requirements.
- Provide expert analysis and interpretation of data utilizing engineering standards, Lean 6 Sigma and statistical analysis tool.
- Organize and allocate testing resources to effectively and efficiently meet customer delivery commitments.
- Ensure, with the support of HR, that the Quality team members are sustainably assessed, staffed, trained and
- developed in line with ABB Group QO guidance.
**Your background**:
- Engineering L6s,
- Fluent English, with min 3-5 years of experience in quality.
As a team leader will be a plus
- Resilience
- Abiltity to manage the stress and multitasking topics
- Problem solving approach
