In the position as Quality Control Specialist, you will act with safety, efficiency, quality and productivity to ensure that products and systems meet stated requirements. You will be responsible for incoming goods inspections, non-conformity reports and perform various test protocols to ensure quality and the integrity of the products.

**This position reports to**:

Quality Control Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Being responsible for the incoming goods inspection by means of advance instruments, tools and test protocols.

- Performing Dimensional, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Functional tests in order to evaluate and guarantee the Quality of the Suppliers' goods in acc. to ABB standards.

- Reporting and communicate to Suppliers, SCM, Operation, R&D and Quality the non-conformity found and support its resolution.

- Providing assistance to other functional teams to perform first article inspections and support the 0-Series for the release of new Products.

- Providing quality support for the Supplier' issues found from in-process production till customer site.

- Notifying others if unsafe situations are observed, and working with local Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) teams to improve safety systems.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor degree or Diploma with specific qualification in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical fields.

- More than 2 years of professional experience in similar role.

- Good communication skills (written & verbal) in English.

- Good analytical skills, familiar to work approaching with failure analysis methods.
