As a Quality Engineer, you will communicate business goals and targets while simplifying and improving processes for an area or business segment. In this role, you will leverage your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop lean processes, and execute objectives for yourself and others, impacting short-term and some long-term business goals. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Prioritize and implement multiple concurrent process improvement projects, alone or as part of a multifunctional team, to drive customer satisfaction and business productivity. Analyze production and service limitations, then develop, implement, and evaluate quality assurance process sampling systems, procedures, and statistical techniques to track the progress of improvement efforts. Oversee evaluation of test equipment, precision measurements, accuracy measurements, and performance testing. Work with Material Review Board to disposition nonconforming material and develop containment and corrective actions through TOPS8D and 5 whys. Collaborate with NPI teams to approve new suppliers of materials/services used in product realization and qualify their processes. Coordinate with Sustaining Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Sourcing to resolve quality issues related to existing suppliers. Conduct training on quality assurance concepts, specifications, and monitoring tools. Collect, organize, and analyze process information and data for the Company and upon customer and supplier requests to drive continuous improvement and customer focus. Specify, develop, and accept advanced technology, quality-related information, and test equipment. Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards new product introduction involving new processes or advanced automated equipment, providing a state-of-the-art quality engineering approach. Act as a consultant with authority regarding quality standard application and towards each Company representative. Maintain an inclusive approach to involve manufacturing and engineering organizations to improve quality and manufacturing processes. Qualifications / Requirements Bachelor's degree in Scientific disciplines. Previous experience in the additive manufacturing business. Ability to manage multiple tasks. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work in a matrix organization. Fluency in English and Italian. Work Visa, in accordance with local regulations, is required. Desired Characteristics Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to team projects. Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and provide efficient solutions through a six sigma and lean approach.
