SICIM is a Construction Company established in 1962 and offering all types of services related to the installation of pipelines and relevant ancillary facilities for the transmission and distribution of oil, gas and water on an international basis.

Position

Sicim is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to be placed on one of our construction sites in Italy.

The person will report to the Quality Manager and will be involved in the following activities:

Support the Project Quality Manager in developing quality procedures and control plans; Ensure compliance with the Company's Quality Policy and Quality Plan on site; Assist the Quality Manager in identifying and documenting all specific quality requirements outlined in the project contract, ensuring that a Project Quality Management System is established, implemented, and maintained in accordance with the company's Quality System and business needs; Verify that the procedures for developing the project and drafting quality control plans and verification records are efficient, adequate, and consistent with company standards; Assist the Quality Manager in training project staff to comply with the quality requirements outlined in the Quality Plan related to specific activities; Support the Quality Manager in establishing control measures and resolutions for non-conformities, monitoring the status of Project Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and informing stakeholders of any quality issues, assisting them in identifying appropriate solutions; Identify negative elements or deficiencies impacting the quality system, investigate their root causes with the support of the Site Engineer and Project Team, requesting appropriate corrective actions and verifying their effectiveness over time; Verify the correct application by the Site organization of the Quality Plan (QA/QC), procedures, and ITP/QCP; Promote the opening of necessary NCRs and corrective actions, supervising their progress; Verify the adequacy of subcontractors' quality systems, assisting the project quality manager in conducting periodic audits and applying company standards where required; Ensure that any deviations from applicable specifications, drawings, standards, or contractual documents and any technical comments from clients are adequately addressed and assist in resolving any quality issues; Collect and verify the completeness and compliance of control documents and provide reporting to managers regarding the progress of inspections in accordance with the work program; Scan, archive documentation, and update traceability records; Requirements Mandatory Degree or Diploma Previous experience in quality management systems Previous experience on Italian construction sites Previous experience on Italian pipeline construction sites Preferred Certificates as Lead Auditor ISO 9001 English proficiency Other information
