As an exclusive partner of other brands in the sports sector we offer our entire know how in communication, sales and image building. We are a team of 1300 employees in 11 countries worldwide – a group of adventurers and dreamers, mountaineers, looking for their next peak. We are looking for an intern who supports our Technical Hardware Team for at least 6 months starting from mid/end of February.
As a member of the team, you will be involved in assisting mainly the Quality Manager and the Product Development team in everyday responsibilities, providing a supporting role to help to reach deadlines and objectives. The ultimate goal of the Development team is to develop and execute the most innovative, technically advanced products in order to meet company goals and to ensure Salewa, Dynafit and Wild Country quality standards.
Your role will be to help the team in achieving these objectives. Tasks responsibilitiesAssist the Quality Manager in creating technical specificationsExecute goods inward inspectionSupport the product testing in the lab by use of appropriate machinerySupport on Prototype testing and developmentHelp to manage workloads/tasks to ensure timely completionProfileUniversity student or degree in engineering or a similar fieldPrevious internships in a similar field are considered a plusUnderstanding of technical drawingsVery good English or German skills, Italian is a plusProficient knowledge of MS Office and CAD (Solidworks), knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is an advantagePassion for mountain sports/climbingIf you are interested to work in a challenging, international and dynamic environment then apply now!
