**Purpose of the position
- Ensure the full and timely completion of the whole APQP process during launches of new products, driving carefully and smartly teams with the needed core tools (PDCA, PFMEA, QA Matrix, SPC, MSA, PPAP)
- Ensure Procedures and Policies are applied in the plant, and that new ones are implemented and respected.
- Ensure that internal Quality Systems audits are executed, in line with IATF requirements.
**Areas of Responsibilities
With direct report to the plant Quality Manger, he/she:
- Coordinates plant quality activities during development and launch of a new product
- Is responsible for the timely completion of all main quality documents and data collection to be regularly
reported to management
- Prepares and checks all launch quality documents for the plant/s, respecting the APQP quality gates
- Trains / Updates plant staff and management on quarterly basis on Main Quality Systems up-to-date
- Reviews regularly with plant and corporate Quality and Operations Management the Quality status of the plant
- Supports internal process audits, detects non-conformities and manages action plans according to PDCA
Methodology
- Ensures all Customers' requests are included in the product SPC, PFMEA and Control Plan
- Attends all regular meetings with the rest of the organization as representative and responsible for the plants
tasks and needs
- Attends Customers meetings and official product and process audits, collects data and prepares 2nd level
analyses to solve product issues
- Ensures Lessons Learned are tracked, known and implemented on the product
- Prepares 8D, Kaizen and all needed data for the Quality reviews with middle and top management
**Competences / Required experience
- Job Location: Caivano, Italy, but availability to frequently move within Italy is required
- Education: Bachelor-degree, preferably in engineering
- Working experience: at least 5 years spent in quality roles within the automotive sector
- Qualified IATF 16949 and/or VDA 6. 3 2nd party auditor
- Professional level of English (at least B2 CEFR level)
- Good knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Quality core tools (PDCA, PFMEA, Control Plan, Kaizen,
MSA, SPC)
- Very good knowledge of the Office package, with special focus on Advanced Excel and Power Point
