Quality Manager
SICIM is a Construction Company established in 1962 and offering all types of services related to the installation of pipelines and relevant ancillary facilities for the transmission and distribution of oil, gas and water on an international basis.
**Posizione**:
SICIM is currently looking for a Quality Manager for our project in Sud America:
**In Branch organization**:
- Implement the organization's corporate QMS in the specific territory and/or in the assigned project
- Check the applicability of the available Corporate process procedures, based on the actual setup of the organization on-site.
- Coordinate with HQ management levels for each specific development of the QMS, prepare materials for monthly coordination meeting
- Carry out internal compliance audits, manage the activities related to the processing of quality data, collect KPI's and convey them in the Management Review meeting.
- Verify that the Risk Management and Lessons Learned processes are developed.
- Act as the preferred interface/ focal point for Third Party audits for system certification and/or audits performed by headquarters (corporate).
- Support projects during the execution of internal and external audits (customer, third parties)
- Participate in the selection of the staff of the quality discipline, both as regards the permanent headquarters and as regards the project.
- Verify their compliance with the contractual requirements.
Interfacing with the HR department and the Corporate Quality Manager before finalizing technical assessments for hiring.
**In Project organization**:
- Manage QA/QC department - Interface with Client representative for QA/QC Matter
- Coordinate QA/QC Engineers, officers, Coordinators, Inspectors at field.
- Cooperate with Procurement Department reviewing procured material ITP
- Cooperate in the follow up of the Material Inspection Activity with project Expeditors
- Ensure compliance with Client requirements both of the activities and of the QA/QC Mng system.
- Coordinate training on QA/QC issues and perform (or assign resource to perform) basic training as well.
- Produce/Develop documentation with regards of QA/QC in the SOW
- Develop Audit Plan - Survey the correct development of Welding activities by exercising control on the Project Welding Coordinator / Engineer
- Implement Corporate guidelines related Reporting and feed-back, Auditing and inspections.
**Requisiti**:
**QA/QC Manager experience and education**:
- previous experience in medium/big projects for structured Client (Transcanada, Exxon, Shell, Total, etc)
- previous working experience in a remote area and in a multicultural environment.
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certificate released by an accredited body
- Ten (10) years of experience in pipeline projects and/or experience in oil, gas and petrochemical plants.
- Five (5) years experience as QA/QC Manager
- to be fully conversant with applicable Industry International Standards and Specifications (i. e.
ISO, ASME, ANSI, API, ASTM, AWS, NACE, NEMA etc.
).
- Fluent in English
- the person should have gained experience in developing and establishing multi-disciplinary construction field quality plans and procedures, and have demonstrated knowledge in the control of measuring and test equipment routinely used in conducting site inspections, examinations and testing.
