Our client in Lancaster is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team!Job Title: Quality TechnicianLocation: Lancaster, PAPay: $20. 47/hr + 0. 75 shift differentialSchedule: Sunday-Thursday 11p-7:30aTemp to hire!Job description and requirements:Supports the manufacturing operations by performing tasks in accordance with established and documented work instructions (i. e. , First Article, First Sleeve Inspections, gauge set-ups, control of nonconforming material, etc.

). Provides training and guidance in quality principles to associates both within and outside of the department. Ensures the acceptability of incoming materials, in-process and outgoing products by performing the specified inspections and audits. Collects data to support analytical methods including capability studies, statistical process control, sampling plans and other statistical tools. Correctly interprets drawings, specifications, established standards (visual and dimensional), and other customer requirements and applies these to the product conformance determination process. Collects data for gage R&R's and gage calibrations in accordance with established guidelines. Strives for continuous improvement of the Company's processes. Maintains a clean and organized workplace using the "6S" system. Embraces change in the work environment to maintain internal and external customer satisfaction. Adjusts schedule to fluctuate work priorities as needed. Considers the safety of self and others while performing job responsibilities.

Understands Supervisor must be notified of unsafe conditions. Strives to maintain a positive work environment. Other duties may be assigned.
