The technician will conduct analytical lab checks and work collaboratively with production to solve QA issues. Starting at $21/hr, your hourly wage will move to $22. 05/hr after 6 months. Skills that will make you successfulMust have knowledge of operating basic laboratory equipmentRequired knowledge of GMPs/SOPsConfident in communicating and coachingPeer coaching acceptance requiredPromotes teamworkGood analytical, written, and verbal communication skillsBe at work as scheduled and in a timely mannerWays you will make a differenceAdheres to all company policies and proceduresBe a guide and leader for quality and food safety standardsPerforms plant GMP audit and corrects findings on the floorDetermine root cause analysis when there are quality deviations and report on holdsPerforms quality checks for QA programs in the facilityEnsures compliance with FSSC ISO 22000 standards through internal auditingPerform analytical lab calibrations and verificationsConducts analytical testing following laboratory standardized methodsConducts assigned work in a safe manner and adheres to Ferrara safety methodsConducts Critical Control Point verifications and confirms compliance to HACCP requirementsConducts packaging inspections for start up and throughout the shiftConducts thorough changeover inspections utilizing ATP swabsParticipates in glass, brittle plastic InspectionReview of in-process paperwork ensuring compliance to GDP requirementsAble to take initiative and suggest improvementsUnderstands and is accountable for full compliance with safety, quality and other relevant requirementsOther duties as assignedExperiences that will support your successRecent College Graduates (Food Science, Chemistry, or related field highly preferred but NOT required).

Must have an HS Diploma or GED.
