Radiation Engineer

Permanent responsibility: The Radiation Engineer will manage the following tasks: Tasks to be managed: At Equipment level: Dose analysis (materials and components) & SEE Equipments Response to RIDs Justification RFW At the System level (Payload and / or Satellite): Monitoring of sub-contractors Issue and follow-up of RIDS Maintaining RCB reviews with the client at TAS and / or at subcontractors Contribution to the development of payload / satellite summaries Contribution to the development of the status radlats of TAS equipment & Subcontractors Presentation to the client of the analyzes results during the program reviews Participation in test campaign and test set up preparation Location: Turin Project reference documents: RDH TAS QMS standard TAS Program applicable documents List of sensitive components Hardware matrix Data package equipment Work package documents: Radiation report on meetings conducted with designers or exchanged by email SEE Rate calculation analysis for each sensitive devices SLIDES for presentation to the customer during Equipment / SS-System / Satellite CDR Emission and answers to RIDs Issue of Satellite Radiation / Payload summaries Issue of equipment radiation/analyses Progress of the Radlats status. Minutes of RCB meetings General skills: Managing of sub-contractors Managing of Major non Conformity and knowledge of problem solving techniques. Managing of Deviations and Waivers Preparation of Radiation Analysis Report Ability to modelize electronic devices within equipment model provided by mechanical designers Ability to perform SEE rates computation Ability to analyse SEE events Participation in test campaign with Co60, proton and heavy ions Personal requirements: Master degree or PhD in scientific subjects (Physics or Electronic Engineering). Fluent knowledge of English language for both written and verbal communication. Excellent knowledge of Italian is required. Attitude to teamwork. Knowledge of Fastrad and Omere tool. Knowledge of active electronics components. Excellent knowledge of particles interaction with matter. Experience with Radiation discipline.
