JOB PURPOSE The role will coordinate the effective and efficient management of Textile and Leather Raw Materials across the RTW Supply Chain (within the Soft Apparel & Tailoring Product Category) achieving and exceeding functional quality standards, through a strong and competent supplier base, strategically sound relationships, and sound technical knowledge.

Contribute to driving strategic thinking through a matrix approach, optimizing efficiencies in ordering, cost negotiation, RM stock management, and on-time delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES Procurement & Supplier Management Ensure a robust procurement strategy & approach with the commitment of all relevant internal stakeholders developed in partnership with Senior Management within the Soft Apparel & Tailoring Product Category across all divisions (MW, WW, and CHW).

Partner with the business and maintain continuous dialogue to understand ongoing business needs & future aspirations.

Develop, maintain, and evolve a robust supplier matrix.

Build & establish collaborative partnerships with key suppliers, including timely two-way communications, feedback on performance, and risk mitigation.

Assist in the end-to-end management activities of the supplier base (including selecting & onboarding, negotiation, matrix & risk management, capacity management, performance & exit).

Participate actively in the negotiation of cost, lead time, and minimums of RMs.

Build cost sheet breakdown for RMs focusing particularly on core or strategic RMs.

Map and manage supply chain for core or strategic RMs/Suppliers.

Contribute and support sustainable materials and manufacturing.

Build and maintain strategic industry links.

Follow commodity markets and anticipate business impact.

Track supplier performance in line with KPIs set.

Contribute to elevate technical knowledge and competency.

Feedback & Reporting Review supplier performance management feedback & agree on appropriate response mechanisms.

Report on KPIs.

Ensure effective use of systems and maintenance & accuracy of data.

PERSONAL PROFILE Proven experience working in the Textile industry.

Technical degree in textile or textile-related studies is an advantage.

Fluent in Italian and English.

Advanced level of Excel.

Knowledge of the luxury industry.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Strong soft/interpersonal skills.
