RINA is currently recruiting for a R&D & Innovation Junior Project Manager to join its office in Genoa or Milan, Italy within the Energy Innovation Centre Division.
MissionThis role focuses on the project management of international R&D and innovation projects related to the Energy industry.
The team is focused on the following key areas:
Energy transition and decarbonizationNew energy sources and hydrogenEnergy nexus (e. g. , water, climate, industry, transportation, security, urbanization, food, health, etc. )Digitalization and cybersecurityInternational cooperationThe team operates especially in the context of local and international funding programs: Horizon Europe, LIFE, Clean Hydrogen Joint Undertaking, Innovation Fund, EMFAF, IPCEI, EIT, RFCS, Interreg, PRIMA, Fondo Transizione Industriale, Contratti di Sviluppo, ARERA, and other local funding programs related to PNRR.
Key AccountabilitiesThe new resource will be part of the Energy R&D and Innovation team at RINA Consulting S. p. A. , contributing to international R&D and innovation projects in the energy sector.
The key responsibilities will include:
Contributing to the identification and development of new project ideas and opportunitiesAssisting in the preparation of proposals for R&D and innovation projects under European and international funding programsManaging or supporting the management of EU-funded R&D projects during executionCollaborating with internal experts and international partners on technical project developmentPreparing, or providing support for the preparation of, reports, presentations, and project deliverablesSupporting the expansion of RINA network of R&D partnersContributing to the development of digital tools for consulting and engineering servicesLeading, or assisting with, proposal preparation, including technical documentation and budgetingManaging and coordinating industrial projects throughout their executionOverseeing contracts from an economic and financial perspectiveLiaising with clients, colleagues, and suppliers to ensure smooth project executionSupporting technical project development and the preparation of project deliverablesContributing to business development initiatives as requiredEducationMaster's Degree in Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Management Engineering
