R&D & Innovation Project Manager
RINA is currently recruiting for a R&D & Innovation Project Manager to join its office in Milan or Genoa, Italy within the Energy Innovation Centre Division.
Mission
This role focuses on the project management of international R&D and innovation projects related to the Energy industry.
The team is focused on the following key areas:
New energy sources and hydrogenPower generationSustainable fuelsEnergy storageEnergy transition and decarbonizationThe team operates especially in the context of local and international funding programs: Horizon Europe, LIFE, Clean Hydrogen Joint Undertaking, Innovation Fund, EMFAF, IPCEI, EIT, RFCS, Interreg, PRIMA, Fondo Transizione Industriale, Contratti di Sviluppo, ARERA, other local funding programs related to PNRR, etc.
Key Accountabilities
You will be part of the Energy R&D and Innovation team at RINA Consulting S. p. A. , contributing to international R&D and innovation projects in the energy sector.
The key responsibilities will include:
R&D and Innovation ProjectsContributing to the identification and development of new project ideas and opportunitiesAssisting in the preparation of proposals for R&D and innovation projects under European and international funding programs. Managing or supporting the management of EU-funded R&D projects during execution. Collaborating with internal experts and international partners on technical project development. Preparing, or providing support for the preparation of, reports, presentations, and project deliverables. Supporting the expansion of RINA network of R&D partners. Contributing to the development of digital tools for consulting and engineering services. Industrial ProjectsLeading, or assisting with, proposal preparation, including technical documentation and budgeting. Managing and coordinating industrial projects throughout their execution. Overseeing contracts from an economic and financial perspective (profit and loss management via dedicated ERP/CRM software). Liaising with clients, colleagues, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution. Supporting technical project development and the preparation of project deliverables. Contributing to business development initiatives as required. Education
Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Other in Management Engineering or Chemical Engineering
Qualifications
Degree in energy/electrical/mechanical/chemical/management engineering or in other technical-scientific fields with focus on any of the areas of interest indicated aboveHaving completed a PhD or minimum 3 years of working experience will be considered as a plusCapacity to conduct research, organize work and produce resultsOpen-minded to innovation, creativity and good attitude to networkingFluent in English and ItalianExcellent reporting skills both verbal and writtenCompetencies
