Your Tasks**:

Defines Company's policies for quality assurance, regulatory affairs and quality control.

Ensures compliance and the correct implementation of the company's Quality Management System, BRCGS standard, ISCC Plus standard and FSC standard at every stage of company processes.

Defines and owns the annual R&D plan based on local and group business and industrial strategies in compliance with shared priorities and budget guidance, constantly monitoring its adequacy, progress and costs

Responsible for managing and developing the R&D, QC and QA team.

In the position:

- Ensures proper management & execution of periodic meetings on product & process quality, on their improvements, internal and external audits.

- Acts to promote quality awareness and training at every level in the company and ensure that countermeasures defined to prevent nonconformity of products are in place and updated.

- Supports the Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs area in supervisory activities to ensure compliance with hygiene and health standards and procedures in force, as well as with sector regulations.

Guarantees technical support, both in the development and prototyping phase, and in the management of already industrialized products.

- Coordinates and carries out the necessary tests involving the appropriate resources both in the field of testing and in the industrial field.

- Collaborates with the operations management and Capri Sun Group in the evaluation of possible technological developments of production plants.

- Collaborates with the Sales team in order to rationalize and optimize the range of company products and contributes to the assessment of the level of competitiveness of our R&D solutions.

- Monitors and analyses the evolution of technology and materials of the company reference market.

- Deals with the procurement team and material suppliers to find cost-optimizing solutions.

**Your Profile**:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry or a similar relevant field

- At least 5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within the flexible packaging industry

- Solid experience in leading and developing a team

- Must have previous experience with lamination processes, printing knowledge desirable

- Good understanding of the industrial process of customers, as well as Quality management systems and food and safety regulations relevant to the flexible packaging industry

- Fluent language skills in English and Italian

- Strategic thinking coupled with a hands-on and mentality and a teamwork-oriented mindset

- Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office
