Position SummaryWhat is your role? We're looking for an R&D Chemical Lab Intern to join our R&D Chemical Lab team in Barge (CN). Reporting to the Research Analysis Manager, you will work in a uniquely high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative working culture, with responsibility for the R&D area.
Key ResponsibilitiesEssential Responsibilities: Physical-chemical analysis of friction materials, interpretation of the resulting results, and identification of any critical issues. Management of physical and chemical testing of friction materials. Analysis of the results obtained and implementation of the necessary corrective actions to satisfy the customers' requests. Finding innovative solutions to the expected results of the material analyses tested. Applying and developing physical-test methodologies for chemical materials related to brake pads while collaborating with universities or research centers to identify areas for improvement related to the characterization of brake pads and their raw materials. Position RequirementsWhat will make you our perfect match? Relevant undergraduate coursework in engineering, chemistry, biology, and associated laboratories is required. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical or similar fields. Curiosity and passion for learning. Positive attitude and self-motivated individual. Results-driven individual.
