R&D Data Management Specialist
Main Purpose of the role
- The GRDQ Data & Systems Management department is the central hub for all data, information, and systems required by the GRDQ community.
- Charged with ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility, this department plays a pivotal role in supporting the organization's research, development, and quality initiatives.
Harmonise and align procedures and processes.
The new resource within the GRDQ Data & Systems Management department, will play a pivotal role in facilitating the efficient functioning of Data and Systems management operations.
Reporting directly to the Global DSM Manager, the individual will serve as a central point of contact for coordinating various activities and projects within the RDQ Global & Local community as well as cross functional & external teams.
**what you will do
- Facilitate Alignment and Standardization: Work closely with the Global DSM Manager to standardize processes, procedures, and systems related to relevant area within RDQ DSM team.
Ensure consistency and adherence to established standards across all relevant systems;
- Data Quality Assurance: The Coordinator is tasked with achieving and maintaining 100% data quality within the GRDQ DSM domain.
This involves conducting periodic checks, collaborating with Local RDQ teams to identify discrepancies, and taking corrective actions as necessary.
By ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and completeness, the coordinator facilitates reliable decision-making and operational efficiency across the organization;
- Implementation and Deployment Support: Support the Global DSM Manager in the implementation and deployment of new standards and systems within the GRDQ DSM framework.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and adoption of these initiatives;
- Collaborate with Local RDQ DSM Teams: Work closely with Local RDQ DSM teams to align data models, ensure data completeness, and maintain data quality standards.
Foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing to drive continuous improvement in data management practices;
- Training and Development: Take responsibility for training new team members on data management processes, systems, and best practices.
Develop training materials and resources to facilitate onboarding and ongoing skills development within the team;
- First Point of Contact for trouble shooting : Act as the primary contact for addressing and resolving software bugs and issues reported by Local RDQ DSM teams.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Proven experience in data management, preferably in a R&D, Supply chain or manufacturing environment;
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with data management systems/software;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities;
- Familiarity with technology infrastructure, including data management tools, databases, DevEX, REd , ERP systems, and automation platforms;
- Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives, with a focus on optimizing processes, reducing costs, and enhancing operational efficiency.
