JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

The resource will be part of R&D Store Engineering Team and individual's primary responsibility will be to manage the millwork planning and execution of be-spoke and one-off store design projects (or special projects), developed from C&I team, including preparation of preliminary cost analysis, sample material boards, coordination of shopfitter efforts and shop drawings review.

The resource will coordinate the project with the customer, all internal departments and PM's to ensure that the millwork is executed seamlessly, on-time and as budgeted.

The resource will also provide support for the overall Store Design Execution mission, collaborating with global design manager's to help and assist store design layouts creation (fixtures catalogue and coding) and custom fixtures development (both EMEA and Worldwide).

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

- Work closely and assist both Concept & Innovation Team and Store Design Execution Team in the development of new store design concept and one-off stores, focusing on millwork value engineering process

- Communicate and work closely with both Concept & Innovation team and external vendors to ensure millwork execution is in line with global design standards and on-time

- Collaborate with shopfitters through shop drawing, fabrication process, and installation manuals

- Review shop drawings prior to submittal for approval

- Coordinate with PM or external consultants ( both EMEA and WW) to ensure accurate and timely delivery of all millwork materials required for a new store opening

- Coordinate with internal procurement team and category buyers for materials supply, tendering and bidding process

- Manage and prepare analysis for new retail concepts costs & feasibility : fixtures catalogue, fixtures coding and inventory list creation according to internal corporate regulations and process

- Assist and collaborate with both Concept & Innovation Team and Store Design Execution team for custom fixture development, prototype and mock-up preparation, stores layout and construction guidelines

- Visit vendor to be sure millwork production meet expectations and to ensure budget/timeline is followed and respected

- Be available on-site for millwork installations and prepare punch list/close-out documents

INTERNAL : Concept & Innovation team / Design Execution team / PM & Construction / Procurement / In store communication team / others where necessary

EXTERNAL : Millwork vendors / External consultants ( PM's, Construction companies, design offices ) / Suppliers ( various vendors of millwork materials)

TECHNICAL SKILLS - PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE:

- Educational Background: Architecture or Design degree (5 years degree is a plus)

- Experience in retail companies/agencies is preferred

- 2D Drawings (AutoCad) - Excellent use is mandatory

- Installation experience required.

Also, experience with Metric system and US construction regulations is not mandatory but can be a plus

- Microsoft Office & Adobe Suite (InDesign) - Excellent use is mandatory

- 3D software use is not mandatory but can be considered a plus ( Rhinoceros - Keyshot)

- English fluent
