Our Process Automation Division is looking for a R&D Engineer who will join the Research & Development department based in Ossuccio.

In this role you will identify, propose and implement innovative technology development and solutions by contributing with own ideas.

Your responsibilities Be the expert on material used in PAMA products, promote and drive research and innovation to identify new solution applicable in emerging manufacturing processes.

Be the expert on legislations and regulations applicable to the environment and in particular to chemical substances used in PAMA products, promoting within the organization whatever needed to react to regulation processes, looking after to establish proper support and collaborate with different functions.

PAMA Product Sustainability strategy with actions and initiatives (e. g.

execution of life-cycle assessment analyses, achievement of environmental declarations in accordance to standards and legislations, promotion of the ABB Circularity Approach, actively monitoring sustainability and environmental legislation).

Your background A Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical/Material Engineering.

Fluent Italian and English, both written and spoken.

Good knowledge of CAD 3D (WindChill/SolidWorks), AutoCAD and Office are required.

Knowledge of FEM and thermal simulation tool, material alloy/plastics and manufacturing/mechanical production process.

Autonomy in the management of the activities, team-working and communication skills, curiosity and flexibility complete the profile.
