This position reports to: RD Team LeadYour role and responsibilities:Maintaining recognized expertise in a specific area by integrating the latest developments in technologies, tools, and methodologies into your work. Finding new ways of addressing customer needs and solving problems, by following your ideas, creating hypotheses (i. e.

designs and prototypes), and defining ways to validate them (e. g.

tests). Documenting work results (like findings, designs, or test results), allowing others to maintain and improve them. Providing consulting services to business operations and customers. Understanding and initiating IP generation in your area of specialization and participating in the project IP strategy development. Qualifications for the role:Master#39;s or Bachelor#39;s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a Technical High School diploma. You have experience in the electromechanical industry, preferably working as an engineer/designer of medium voltage products. You enjoy working with designing, prototyping, and testing mechanical and/or electrical components. You are proficient in operating with CAD (preferably SolidWorks) and PLM (preferably Windchill) software and capable of reading 2D technical drawings and electrical diagrams. You are passionate about creating solutions from scratch and you have strong written and spoken communication skills. You are at ease communicating in Italian and English languages, both written and spoken.
