You will contribute and support the team to meet successful results in Research & Development projects for our Transformer Business Unit in Monselice (PD). We are seeking an engineer to join our R&D team for an internship. The successful candidate will be mainly engaged in research and development activities, particularly dimensional measurements on power transformer conductors.

The data collected from the measurements will be analyzed using simple linear regression and/or machine learning algorithms. The candidate will also be involved in other research and development activities primarily focused on data acquisition from electrical designs and power transformer test reports, and their analysis using MI/AI algorithms. Your responsibilities:Carry out mechanical dimensional measurements of the conductors, collecting the measured values in tables/DBs. Analyze data using simple linear regression and/or machine learning algorithms. Manage new measurements within the database containing previously obtained results. Identify analytical descriptions from the values and data analysis. Support colleagues in coordinating suppliers and factories for the collection of conductor samples to be measured. Develop and implement testing procedures for the electrical design system. Develop and update technical documentation, project reports, and technical articles based on the results of the measurements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. Your background:Master's (or Bachelor's) degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or a related field. University students seeking a bachelor thesis internship in these fields. Understanding of manufacturing electrical machines and/or numeric calculation exams is a plus. Good proficiency in Python programming is considered a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills. Good communication and collaboration skills. Please note that if you are NOT a passport holder of the country for the vacancy, you might need a work permit.
