R&D Engineer (Pharma)
Adecco Life Science, specialized division of the Adecco Group, research for a client company operating in the design and construction of modules, pressure vessels and heat exchangers for the pharmaceutical sector: R&D Engineer The R&D Engineer will lead and/or support the design for new processes and equipment.
These may include the design of machine for biotech products (Mab, insulin, vaccine, plasma), pharmaceuticals, and other related products.
He or she will get support from other engineering resources of the sister companies, with operations in Sweden, China and the US. Multi-international and cross communication with Operations in Sweden, China, US, and etc. Job Responsibilities and Tasks:• Being a key member of international project teams, and jointly work on/or lead the R&D project. • Focusing on the renewing techniques and new generation products. • Developing and/or reviewing design documentation (layout, P&IDs, process description, production capacity calculation & analysis) and all the documentation related to work progress• Defining the equipment, components' standards and types and developing their specification. • Perform risk analysis and post evaluation. • Developing product documentation and preparation for product patent. • Promoting the design standardization and contribute to useful guidelines and SOPs. • Contacting with equipment and components suppliers. • Conduct or supervise functional tests on machinery. • Participating in trainings (internal and external) and seminars to learn the latest technologies and advanced processes to improve self-competence. Qualifications and Skills Required:• MSc/BSc or equivalent in chemical/biochemical/pharmaceutical/biotech engineering or similar• 5+ years working experience in bio-pharmaceutical, pharmaceutical (Biotech experience is preferred). • Preferred experience in R&D (bio USP and DSP, fill & finish), pharma production management and validation & GMP regulations• Familiarity with cutting-edge industry knowledge and developing trends• International experience (either academical or international working environments) working for international companies or working with international customers• Language skills: Italian and fluent English are a must.
Other European languages (French, German, Spanish…) or Chinese, are a plus• Self-motivated, able to work independently keeping a good team and work spirit in the meantime, hands-on and result-oriented attitudes• Ability to travel locally and internationally• General computer skills (Microsoft Office package) and familiar with engineering software packages such as AutoCAD, COMOS, ASPEN, NavisWorks, and etc. Work location: Segrate (MI)Working hours: full time from Monday to Friday with the possibility of some days of remote workingEmployment Terms:CCNL for the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sector; level and RAL will be commensurate with the candidate's actual experiencePermanent contract directly with the companyIl presente annuncio è rivolto ad entrambi i sessi, ai sensi delle leggi 903/77 e 125/91, e a persone di tutte le età e tutte le nazionalità, ai sensi dei decreti legislativi 215/03 e 216/03.
