Chiesi Research & Development

Our R&D team represents a fundamental asset for the business.

It is divided into integrated functional areas focusing on pipeline projects including discovery and preclinical research, chemical manufacturing and controls, drug delivery technology, clinical development, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, intellectual property, quality assurance, R&D project and portfolio management.

Headquartered in the new purpose-built and fully integrated Research and Development Centre in Parma (Italy), the team also has important operations in Paris (France), Chippenham (UK), Cary (US), Stockholm (Sweden) and Toronto (Canada).

Who we are looking for

Purpose

Experience Required

At least 5 years as formulation in a Pharmaceutical Company.

Experience in formulation and pre-formulation of both liquids and solids

Experimental Design and execution (including interaction with CDMOs)

Experience in the development of Biologics (particularly recombinant protein and mAb) is considered a plus

Education

Languages

Fluent English

Technical Skills

Good knowledge of pharmaceutical development, especially regarding techniques for development of sterile and oral formulations, including basic characterization:

Good knowledge of formulation development and processing of Pharmaceutical Products

Good knowledge of GMP manufacturing processes and documentation

Good knowledge of solid state chemistry and physical properties
