We are currently seeking a RD Mechanical Designer ERP Specialist to join our dynamic team in Tognana, Italy !

In the role of RD Mechanical Designer ERP Specialist you will contribute to regional Sustaining and VAVA Engineering activities.

This multi-layered opportunity will give you exposure on tasks from MCAD designing, PLM Change Analysis and Bill of Materials.

What kind of work will you be doing?

Designing solutions with a focus on the mechanical aspects (mainly sheet metal and piping), collaborating with Suppliers, Procurement, and Industrial Engineering, while being aware of the necessary product marketing inputs.

Creating and reviewing product documentation (CAD drawings, specifications, bills of material).

Meeting objectives of cost, quality, environment, and time of execution, achieving the best trade-off between market and internal customer needs.

Analyzing and resolving technical problems regarding assigned products; improving, updating, and reviewing mechanical drawings according to information from Production, Procurement, and Logistics departments to simplify assembly, reduce costs, and improve quality.

Acting as Analyst for the process of Change Orders released by the Eng Sustaining and VAVE team in Oracle PD PLM.

Managing the COs created by the team, checking their accuracy, creating CCB matrix, and approving them.

Managing Master Items and BOMs in Oracle, acting as the Oracle Data Insertion Specialist (ODIS) supporting RD team engineers in both Nove Mesto and Tognana.

Managing PIPO (Phase IN-OUT) components and BOMs.

Managing Oracle Configurations rules: creating, updating, and managing BOMs configurations rules with Oracle Dario tool.

What will make you successful?

Technical Skills: at least 5 years of previous working experience on similar activities, ideally in the Air Conditioning sector.

Good knowledge of light structural work processing is mandatory.

Knowledge of refrigeration principles is desirable.

Excellent knowledge of 3D/2D CAD PLM systems, Microsoft Office tools, particularly PTC Creo and Solid Edge.

Knowledge of management computer systems.

Good knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOMs) structure and configurations are essential.
