This position reports to R&D Team Lead Your role and responsibilities Digital products and services are key enablers for achieving the Electrification Service business growth targets.

For supporting our strategy, we are expanding our Digital R&D team on a global scale. In this role you will oversee the development of mobile applications for Field Service technicians.

Your role bridges Global Product Management, R&D Teams and Field Service operations, capturing requirements from both ABB's and customer's perspectives. You will own the product backlogs and guide the technical development as the key point of contact for a distributed team of engineers and domain experts, ensuring agile product delivery. The work model for the role is: #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the the Electrification Service R&D team based in Dalmine, Italy and you will be mainly accountable for:• Serving as the vital connection between Product Management and the Development Team, ensuring alignment and smooth communication.

• Playing a key role in formulating the product vision, analyzing requirements, and articulating these through well-defined epics and user stories, specifically for field service mobile and wearable applications. • Taking ownership of managing the requirements backlog, including prioritizing and scheduling user stories for sprints and defining clear acceptance criteria.

Collaborate daily with the Global Product Managers and the development team to ensure successful release outcomes, in sync with sprint, quarterly, and annual objectives. • Planning and executing meeting and events, such as sprint planning and reviews, to support the team's progress and product increment planning on a quarterly timeline. • Maintaining a close relationship with field service technicians, understanding their needs to identify and prioritize features that meet to both internal and external customer demands. • Analyzing and benchmark against relevant competitor solutions to stay ahead in the field and inform strategic decision-making. Qualifications for the role You are highly skilled in transforming a product vision and roadmap into user centric and concise requirements.

Ability to simplify and articulate complex problems coherently.

You have 3 years of experience in the Electrification Sector.

Possess an enhanced knowledge of cutting-edge technologies like Augmented Reality, cognitive services, language understanding, and Large Language Models, with additional credit for familiarity with cloud computing.

You are captivated by Strong affinity and understanding of software, particularly in areas such as mobile apps, digital services (e. g. , remote assistance, digital work instructions, immersive experiences), and wearables.

Degree in in Computer Science or a closely related field.

You are at ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
