This is a position with grade 14, reporting to the R&D Team Lead. Your role and responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for developing new solutions as well as technical improvement of active ones in line with the required product standards and market specifications for electrical distribution board products. The work model for the role is: hybrid. This role contributes to the Electrification/Smart Power/Breakers & Enclosure in Garbagnate Monastero. You will be mainly accountable for: Working as a reliable contributor in R&D projects, in an Agile environment. Designing (2D and 3D) mechanical parts and assemblies of Low Voltage Enclosures, in collaboration with the design team and in accordance with specifications. Coordinating prototype construction to ensure alignment with project/task timelines, planning and analyzing experimental tests to verify technical solutions, and adjusting designs as required based on test results. Supporting Production, Quality, and Engineering departments during the implementation of new products or modifications to existing ones. Proposing an appropriate list of materials necessary for design, creating Material Master Data, and providing Bills of Materials for products. Our team dynamics are based on the Agile Methodology. You will join a collaborative, dynamic, and result-driven team, where you will be able to thrive. Qualifications for the role: You hold a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar fields. You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles. You are proficient in 3D CAD tools, such as Creo 8. 0 and CATIA V5 (sheet metal package is a plus). You have knowledge of statistical analysis, tolerance analysis, and experience with GD&T. You are comfortable communicating in Italian and English. You have very good knowledge of MS Office. You demonstrate adaptability under pressure, proactivity, problem-solving orientation, and commitment to deliver results by taking responsibility to execute tasks and projects, participating within a dynamic team environment.
