R&D Senior Specialist We are looking for an R&D Senior Specialist to join our R&D Centre of Excellence in Monza with expertise in Food Supplements, OTC, and Biocides.

The role is an individual contributor.

He/She produces new formulations in Food Supplements.

Propose, screen, evaluate, and implement product and technology development projects.

Adapts new regulatory requirements to new countries (geo-expansion) satisfactory products received requests from other company functions (global and local marketing).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide input on project planning. Collection of the bibliography to support the project. Draw up the project brief, the minutes, and all the documentation necessary for conducting the project in accordance with the information received from the superiors and from the other company functions involved. Keep current with technical knowledge. Training and mentoring to other formulation staff. Interface with suppliers. Production of food supplements and OTC in the laboratory and on a small scale. Perform technological tests and evaluate compatibility with the packaging. Prepare samples for clinical and/or efficacy studies and monitor progress and stability tests. Provide technical support to new product introduction and product transfers.

Draw up technical data sheets. QUALIFICATIONS Master's Degree or equivalent in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or other scientific disciplines. Post-graduate qualification in a science discipline or work related to the position would be an advantage. Professional English proficiency required. EXPERIENCE Minimum 3/5 years in Pharma Industry and relevant academic background and qualifications. Ideally, the successful candidate will have a chemical, manufacturing, and control background in any dosage form with experience/knowledge in powder characterization, manufacturing, and testing. Experience in manufacturing would be an advantage. Extra experience in other segments, e. g. , OTC/biocides would be nice to have. Requires on-the-job or previous training and experience. May require formal occupational training or certification. Problems faced may require some fact-finding to define the problem. Solution is chosen from a set of defined procedures but not only or based on precedence. Conveys or exchanges professional or technical information in routine ways to audiences typically knowledgeable about the subject matter, but occasionally to diverse audiences that may be not knowledgeable about subject matter. Supports the achievement of goals through personal effort in own work area or work team. Impact of work can vary from immediate to medium-term. Accountable for completing own work to meet a daily schedule.
