In this context, we are looking for a highly motivated Silicon Design Engineer to help us push the boundaries of technology beyond standard microcontroller components. The ideal candidate is a Silicon Design Engineer with previous experience in designing IC or ASIC with mixed digital and analog components in the audio space. Hearing-Aid experience is a must. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES Design Custom IC : Design custom IC for audio-based smart eyewear with hearing aid function with an extremely low power profile, with beamforming and digital signal processing functions. Define architecture of future Silicon product across categories : Identify the key elements to architect a Silicon strategy across multiple families of products beyond Audio Glasses. Signal processing techniques application : Develop and apply signal processing techniques to the data acquired on a large number of subjects. AI algorithms architect : Define the strategy to integrate regular signal processing with machine learning components, maintaining high power efficiency. NETWORK OF INTERACTION INTERNAL: The resource will interact with the project managers of the program and product manager of the Smart Eyewear Team. EXTERNAL: The resource will interact with suppliers to enable the production of the IC. TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE Educational Background in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering (Master's Degree or better a PhD). At least 5-10 years of experience in designing low power silicon components, preferably integrated circuits. Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing for Hearing Aids is considered a plus. Experience in writing specifications to enable the production of silicon components. Background in machine/deep learning techniques and algorithms (optimization algorithms, data fusion, digital signal processing). Good knowledge of embedded systems and firmware development.
