JOB DESCRIPTION In order to strengthen the company's product portfolio, we are looking for a candidate to join the Research & Development Team with the objective of analyzing market and application specifications, elaborating and formalizing proposals for the improvement of existing software architectures, evaluating the feasibility of new software architectures, defining the software life cycle, designing innovative algorithms for motion optimization and dynamic interpolation of machine tools, and correcting any issues.

The activity requires a good level of autonomy during the study, development and testing of software.

JOB PROFILE Main hard skills required include: Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics. Excellent knowledge of object-oriented programming and C, C++ programming languages. Good knowledge of operating systems, particularly Linux, and its real-time extensions. Ability to apply agile methodologies to code development. Knowledge of versioning systems: Git, Svn. A knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques is appreciated. A knowledge of other programming languages such as C#, Python and PLC Programming is appreciated. Previous experience in CNC environment, Robotics, or similar role will be an asset. Main soft skills required include: Ability to relate to Italian and foreign suppliers. Good interpersonal skills, team building, autonomy, curiosity and proactivity.
