We see your potential We are seeking a talented Computer Vision Algorithm SW Engineer that will work on Datasensing products according to New Products Development Roadmap.

You will participate in the development of algorithms and software for a large product portfolio including but not limited to Smart Vision Sensors (2D and 3D) for machine learning and robotics applications.

You'll work with heterogeneous platforms mainly based on ARM SOCs equipped with hardware accelerators (i. e.

NPU, GPU, DSP).

Furthermore, here you will be encouraged to act as a leader, find innovative solutions, submit patent proposals, share your ideas and accept these new exciting challenges:

As a software developer, you'll analyze system requirements (functional, non-functional) and develop the high-level architectural design for developed systems, defining the requirements of the subsystems.

Design, develop and test software from high-level application to low-level components; create suitable documentation for the developed software and tests.

Consistently adopt software engineering best practices (code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, code analyzers, change management).

Develop algorithms in the field of rule-based computer vision, machine learning and robotics.

Perform test and characterization activities on developed devices.

Study state-of-the-art publications in the field of 2D/3D vision and robotics.

Review and debug code and manage its integration with existing code.

Collaborate with Team Manager and the Program Manager in organizing activities, defining the priorities of tasks and sub-tasks to meet the given key milestones.

Your skills will be valued along with the following expertise:

Bachelor or master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics Engineering or equivalent.

5+ years of experience in SW development.

Languages: Italian, English (B2 at least).

Wide experience of system development on single and multiprocessor platforms.

Good C++, C and Python, NPU and/or DSP programming.

Understanding of machine learning, including model development/assessment, training and test data sets, and evaluate algorithm performance.
