**R&I TECHNICAL LEADER - ELECTROMAGNETICS ELECTROMECHANICS SPECIALIST

**Responsibilities

In the product concept team, the mission is to bring to life innovative technologies and concepts in new and imaginative ways.

Electric motors are the core of several of the products.

We are looking for a specialist in electromagnetics and electro-mechanical solutions able to contribute actively to the research and innovation projects, both internal and in collaboration with industrial and academic partners, and to cope with the delicate handshake with the team dedicated to bringing the new products to mass production.

He/She will be interacting with several figures of different seniority and background and will be able to effectively lead projects and resources to the realization of technical innovation targets.

**Activities

- New concepts ideation, design, and verification assessment including realization of rapid prototypes and assemblies thereof, following designs through the development cycle with hands on laboratory testing and verification.

- Support or conduct Multiphysics simulation using electromagnetic Finite Element Analysis and Dynamic System simulation tools.

- Collaborate with suppliers and technical leads to provide efficient solutions to prototype and production issues related to electric machines and its integration with electronics hardware and software subsystems.

- Prepare, update and own sub-system SORs (functional requirements), DFMEAs and specific DVPs, interfacing with multidiscipline teams supporting design, analysis and verification.

- Support the creation of cost estimates for customers and other company entities (business development, purchasing, sales), creating product documentation and making presentations to clients and co-workers.

- Plan and develop R&I projects, determining and defining clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for all involved staff members holding regular technical team meetings to help address any questions or challenges and monitoring KPIs.

**Requirements**:

- Master of Science, PhD, or equivalent in electrical or electronic engineering or comparable discipline, with in-depth knowledge in the design of electrical machines and hands-on knowledge in the design and implementation of control systems.

- Experience working analytically, through simulations and in practical prototype testing.

Systematic and thorough approach to work.

Inquisitive and motivated to solve problems as an individual and as part of a larger team.

- Acquaintances of financial and budgeting principles as well as practical experience in projects monitoring and reporting tools (SAP, MSProjects, MSTeams ).

- It is expected minimum 4 years of experience in a structured environment working with engineers of different disciplines and different levels of expertise.

- Self-motivated individual, capable of performing duties with limited supervision while conforming to tight work completion deadlines.

- Fluency in English is a must, another European language is a plus.
