We are looking for a R&D Test Engineer to join our Electrification business. You will join the Laboratory team responsible for testing and certification of ABB low voltage products in the field of DIN-Rail, Wiring Accessories and Building Automation.

In particular you will mainly focus on products having significant electronics, software/firmware and digital features. Position grade:

Your responsibilities Define test plans to verify the compliance of a product to the requested standards and the ful-fillment of its market requirements.

Define new testing procedures and test cases to functionally verify the software/firmware per-formances of products and their correct integration in wider and more complex ecosystems.

Perform tests on various types of products according to test plan, standards and safety rules, within the timeline assigned.

Closely collaborate with the R&D and Quality engineers to develop the best technical solutions to address quality issue and reach the requested product performances.

Perform analysis on experimental data, summarize the results and prepare technical test reports on completed activities.

Propose and implement improvements in the existing test set-ups in terms of equipment, tech-niques, methods, and new tools.

Assist and support external certification inspectors Importante Azienda testing activities for ABB products.

Your background A master degree in Electronic, Computer or Automation engineering;

**Experience**:

from just graduated up to 5 years of relevant experience;

Knowledge about the use of basic Laboratory instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter, functions generator etc. . );

Knowledge about programming languages (C, Python, LabView), knowledge in communication protocol (TCP/IP, Modbus, Profibus) and in PLC programming is a plus;

Effective at working independently and in a team setting, teamwork attitude, good communica-tion skills;

Full fluency in Italian (C2 level) and very good English knowledge (at least C1 level).
