R&D Testing & Lab Specialist**:

Working in a brand-new Agile organization, you will execute tests on different devices using your knowledge of standard references and testing methodologies, investigating and resolving critical product issues, optimizing processes, and verifying product compliance. In this role, you will analyze and document test results for use in the development of new products, as well as defining the details, test sequences, testing methods and procedures, and equipment and instrumentation to be used. This position reports to Digital Operations, Test & Lab Engineering Chapter Leader.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Plan and the implement test plan, assigning the right priority and overseeing the allocated resources.

- Train new team members in test operations and processes.

- Prepare, review, manage, and update documents.

- Propose improvements to test techniques based on experience and knowledge of trends and equipment.

- Assist external certification inspectors during testing activities for ABB products and external customer products.

- Ensure that prototypes are correctly assembled, tests are correctly performed, and activities are thoroughly reported.

**Your background**:

- High school or Graduate in electronic or informatic.

- At least 1 year of experience in laboratory or R&D department, working as operator with electronic and/or firmware.

- Sound knowledge of programming languages or electronic design.

- Knowledge of instrumentation and electronic.

- Proficiency in written and spoken English.

- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
