React Native Developer – Fully European remote, React Native, Expo, REST Api'sAs the React Native developer you will add technical expertise to an established SaaS based product company that is the leader in its industry. You will help drive the future of their mobile application first and foremost whilst being part of a leading renewable energy business.

Their platform supports the fight against climate change and as such their mobile app is already well-architected and built using the latest versions of React Native and Expo. You'll be working in a cross-functional team where autonomy, ownership, and collaboration drive everything they do.

You will shape the product, improve the tech, and solve complex challenges. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain the mobile app using React Native (Expo), ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability. Contribute beyond mobile with opportunities to work on Vue3, and Angular as well as maybe some back end work in Java and Node. jsOptimize and enhance the app's user experience, ensuring smooth animations, interactions, and performance. Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps, ensuring seamless deployments to iOS and Android. Collaborate with backend engineers to define API contractsOptimise communication between mobile and server. Maintain best practices in mobile security, performance, and testing. ExperienceExperience in React Native & Expo (latest versions). Proven track record of shipping mobile applications to production (Google Play, App Store). A solid understanding of the mobile development lifecycle, including testing, performance optimization, and debugging. Experience integrating with RESTful APIs. Familiarity with state management (e. g. , Redux, Zustand, React Context API). Bonus: Experience in backend development (Java/Spring Boot, Node. js) or web frontend (Vue3, Angular).
