NPosition Type Non-ManagementPart of the Luxury Group of Marriott International, Casa Brera is currently recruiting two Receiving Clerks to join the pre-opening team made of modern and authentic hospitality professionals.
Reporting to Purchasing Manager, the role is responsible for processing deliveries, incoming freight based on invoice and receiving reports.
This is full-time position, 5 days a week with 2 days off.
The starting date is estimated in July/August.

So, by receiving and shipping material, recording it accurately in the system, you'll help ensure we're in a good place to continue providing great destinations that guests return to time after time.

What you'll do Receive, unload, and process deliveries and account for incoming freight based on invoice and receiving reports.
Store merchandise by department, mark appropriately for placement in facility, and deliver merchandise to appropriate department.
Maintain accuracy in the internal company system.
Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs and updating of company systems.
Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports to ensure count accuracy collaborating with the accountancy department.
Receive, store, ship, and deliver incoming and outgoing department packages and mail.
Secure the receiving room and its contents, ensuring safekeeping of packages.
Follow all local hazardous material shipping guidelines and regulations.
Ship all out-going mail and packages.
Verify quantity and condition of packages upon receipt prior to delivery to guest.
Communicate with guest regarding received packages.
Maintain accurate tracking system on all shipping and receiving transactions, including receiving guest signatures for received packages.
Communicate with proper management regarding any loss or damage with packages.
What you'll need: A positive, people- and team-oriented attitude.
Passion for guidelines, procedures and systems.
Attention to detail, problem solving skills and multitasking ability.
At least intermediate English and Italian (both written and spoken).
Previous experience in a similar role is a big plus.
Ideally, technical knowledge of Birchstreet.
