JOB DESCRIPTION KEY RESPONSIBIL ITIESCompile and assess daily reports, including occupancy rates, revenue details, and guest satisfaction le vels. Keep abreast on hotel products and services as well as on tourist and business traveling information that may be of any interest to our gu ests. Handle all front office cashiers' transactions, such as posting charges to guests, taking payments, and exchanging foreign currency according to procedures and balance cash float at the end of the s hift. Take charge of the guest booking process by overseeing all aspects of reservat ions. Provide coverage for the night auditor's days off to ensure seamless operations and accurate financial repor ting. Coordinate room status updates with the housekeeping department by notifying them of all group check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins and special requ ests. Report any unusual occurrences or complaints to the Manager.
CONN ECTIONGreet VIP guests upon their arrival, establishing good rapport, and offer assistance for the length of their stay. Ensure cooperation with all relevant departments to working together on all guest questions or requests.
INN OVATIONImplement innovative strategies to enhance the procedures of the depa rtment. Contribute to operational efficiency by identifying and recommending process improvements to streamline front desk proc edures. Monitor and analyze guest feedback to identify areas for improvement and enhance overall guest experience. CURATIONForge partnerships and collaborations within the co mmunity. Create bespoke guest experiences, ensuring guests receive a warm welcome and a friendly f arewell. Accommodate special requests whenever possible and suggestive selling techniques to upsell and promote other services of the hotel.
LEADIN G THE WAYHandle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a timely and professional manner to ensure guest sati sfaction. Respect and apply environmental sustainability practices.
EXPERIENCE &a mp; SKILLSA minimum of a 1-year previous experience as receptionist is required. Fluent in English, Italian proficiency preferred. Proficiency in Opera Cloud is strongl y desired. Deep understanding of front office standards and best practices. Ability to ensure top-notch lifestyle guest e xperience. Proficient in hotel operations and technology integration.
