We are looking for a Recruitment Officer to work at ESA's ESRIN site in Frascati, Italy.

In this role, you will be part of the HR Support Services, interfacing with ESA staff and management at all sites.

The Service will work fully digitally using SAP SuccessFactors, and according to a harmonised, "One ESA" service delivery model with a strong, people-centred local presence in six countries.

About the client and location The ESA Centre for Earth Observation (ESRIN) is the European Space Agency's (ESA) base in Frascati, Italy.

From this location ESA conducts most of their earth observation research, including data analysis and distribution for other non-ESA satellites.

This position is open to protected categories under Italian Law 68/99 ("Rules for the right to work of disabled people").

Tasks and activities The scope of work will include: Preparation and publication of Job Requisitions using SAP SuccessFactors.

Initial screening of applications according to formal criteria (e. g.

gender, nationality, level of education).

Arranging job interviews (mostly on-line) and their follow-up with the interview boards.

Managing candidates via the SAP SuccessFactors candidate pipeline, covering all statuses from application to hired.

Specific communication with candidates.

Arranging pre-recruitment security checks for selected candidates.

Basic on-boarding of new hires.

Contract and position (i. e. , in the organizational structure) administration.

On an ad-hoc basis, supporting the Staff Administration Service with hiring actions, payroll inputs, payroll verifications and related reporting.

Skills and experience The following skills and experience are mandatory: University Degree or equivalent in Business or Public Administration, Human Resources, Finance, Informatics, Engineering, or a relevant field.

At least 3 years of relevant work experience.

Attention to detail and swift follow-up of actions.

Excellent sense of discretion and confidentiality.

Desire to work both autonomously and as part of a team, in an international multicultural environment.

Solution oriented mindset, with a customer focused communication skill.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Knowledge of other languages is an asset.

The following skills and experience would be highly desirable: Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Online and Classic.

Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and Employee Central modules, as well as SAP R/3 on-premise HRIS software.
