The Reference & Unitam QC Senior SME will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of our audio references and data assets across all systems and platforms. This role is critical in maintaining high-quality data standards and implementing best practices.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and passion for continuous improvement.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement and maintain data quality frameworks and processesInvestigate and resolve quality issues in a timely and effective manner, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvementOversee the development and maintenance of the references environmentConduct regular research and analysis of emerging technologies in the television industry and assess their potential impact on business operations. Maintain thorough knowledge of the production environment to ensure effective on-call support in case of production issues. Participate in an on-call rotation to provide emergency support and troubleshooting for critical production problems outside of regular business hoursTrain and support team members on data quality tools, processes, and best practicesTechnical SkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent practical experienceProvable knowledge of Windows Server operating systemsExperience with quality control software and tools specific to the broadcasting industry (e. g. , Tektronix, Mediaproxy, Telestream, TCP/UDP)Deep knowledge of audio/video signal transmissionProgramming experience (Nice to have: python, SQL)English language skills – good level of both written and verbal skillQualificationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of quality issues and implement effective solutionsDemonstrated passion for technological innovation in the television industry and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologiesHigh attention to details: ability to pay attention to the detail and ensure the quality of the outputStrong Results Oriented: To be reliable upon meeting goals, targets, and daily tasks within required timeframesFlexibility and ability to deal with deadline pressuresBe familiar with the production environmentBe available for on-call supportBe able to respond to and resolve production issues when they arise
