We're looking for a Regional Account and Operations Manager for the EMEA market to join one of our Global Pharmaceutical client dedicated teams.
In this role, you will be leading a large team for a major Life Sciences customer.
You will be responsible for all operational processes surrounding sourcing, planning and group air specific to this key account.
You will provide subject matter expertise surrounding development/enhancement of overall team processes, procedure documentations, training, and compliance achievement.
You will also drive programme strategy, innovation, financial performance, quality of service, preferred vendor/supplier performance.
If you are ready to go for it, this is the perfect role for you!Your key responsibilities:Work with EMEA customers to develop strategic business objectives for the meetings program focused both on client and BCD M&E objectives. Meet and exceed customer expectations by managing customer service levels, quality, and productivity and by providing value-added solutions and recommendations. Work with partner agencies that will be servicing your customer to drive their success and adherence to SLAs/KPIs. Identify key areas for efficiency and service excellence across the client operating team. Implement BCD M&E standard operating procedures (SOPs) and develop and implement customer-specific SOPs. Operational leadership over operations management team as well as client-dedicated team overall. Work alongside Business Analyst to identify and maintain reporting requirements for customers while providing them business insights and analytics to identify gaps and opportunities. Serve as primary point of authority on the terms and deliverables of the assigned client contracts to ensure contractual obligations are continually met.
Be responsible for contract negotiation, management, renewals, and expansions. Engage and network with customer end users to sell the value of the meetings program and drive adoption. Financial management of the contract to ensure budgets and forecasts are achieved. Thorough in-depth understanding of Life Science meetings programme and event delivery and compliance. Thorough and in-depth understanding of the Cvent Meeting technology tool from a RFI/RFP, reporting, budgeting, and registration standpoint. Solving problems, identifying gaps, and finding opportunities to find efficiencies. Building strong and trustworthy relationships with customer and internal teams. Leading a best-in-class team. Budget and cost management. Building business cases through data-driven analysis. Identifying opportunities through business and industry trends with a consultative approach on client recommendations. Proposal development and presentations. You might also have:Technology configuration and process knowledge. Regional and global account management and/or operations management experience. You should know:Role is remote based and can be based in the UK, Italy or Spain. Our core business hours are 0900-1730 hours, Monday to Friday; you will require some flexibility to adjust to different time zones on occasion.
