Regional Account Manager - Energy & Utilities (North)
Regional Account Manager – Energy and Utilities (Milan/North, Italy) In this key role, you will manage and drive the sales proposition with a focus on the Energy and Utilities sector in Northern Italy.
This role requires you to create and implement strategic plans based on Fortinet's value proposition.
Develop and manage executive relationships with the key players in the Energy and Utilities industry, including local energy providers and utility organizations (Municipal multi-utilities, water and waste management).
Coordinate with appropriate internal groups to support customers and partners to generate and deliver POC's to win Contract Bids, Proposals, RFI/RFP Responses, and Statements of Work.
Promote a cybersecurity culture based on Fortinet's core values and tailored to the critical needs of the Energy and Utilities sector.
Energy and Utilities customers include power generation companies, electricity and gas transmission/distribution operators, water utilities and associated entities in the energy eco-system.
Key Responsibilities: Develop strategic account plans to achieve goals and exceed quota responsibility.
Consistently build and deliver on an accurate territory pipeline focused on Energy and Utilities.
Maximize Fortinet opportunities while providing value-added solutions to Energy and Utilities customers.
Serve as the lead contact responsible for the flow of information to/from executive management.
Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and partners in the Energy and Utilities space.
Collaborate effectively with internal extended sales teams, partner channel managers, technical sales engineers, and consulting professionals.
Stay updated on energy regulations and cybersecurity requirements, ensuring alignment with industry compliance standards.
Promote a culture of cybersecurity tailored to the Energy and Utilities sector's unique operational and regulatory landscape.
Travel within the assigned territory as required.
Required Skills: Proven experience in technology sales, specifically in the Energy and Utilities sector.
Demonstrated ability to sell complex solutions to large organizations and generate consistent pipeline.
Experience in the network security industry is crucial.
A proven track record of significant over-quota achievement and demonstrated career stability.
Consistent achievement of quotas as a proficient individual contributor.
Selling experience must include the following: Deep knowledge of regulatory compliances of the Energy & Utilities market Understanding of cybersecurity critical needs OT Integration Excellent presentation skills to both executives and individual contributors.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Goal-oriented individual with strong business acumen and leadership abilities, with proven results in mentoring, motivating, and developing teams.
