In this role you will contribute to plan, develop and implement comprehensive and innovative customer focused brand plans to ensure Onco-Hematology Business Unit achieves qualitative and quantitative goals for the assigned brand, in coordination with the Brand Cross Functional team.
In this role you will:Maximizes revenue and market share in the district by driving sales activity and providing leadership to the field forceTranslates Amgen affiliate and brand strategy into regional plansAnalyses the sales performance of the relevant brands in the territory and identifies key levers for actionKeeps business unit team informed of any market changes and competitor activity relevant to strategy implementation and developmentEnsures execution of the Marketing/Commercial tactics by developing territory plans (Plans Of Action - POA) with team membersManages approved budgets to ensure appropriate allocation of resources to meet the plan and financial controlPlans, allocates and monitors team expenses budget to ensure budgetary controlTracks progress of marketing messages and programs implementationMonitors implementation of plans of action throughout sales cycles and ensures budget spend within agreed time, costs, compliance and quality parametersMonitors, evaluates and acts on field force metrics and standards to maximize sales force effectiveness from a quantitative and qualitative perspectiveBuilds a high performing sales team by recruiting and selecting candidates and effectively on-boarding new hiresCoaches and motivates team members to achieve/exceed territory goals and optimize individual and team engagementConducts annual and ongoing performance reviews and capability assessment within the framework of Amgen's performance management processDevelops individual team members to continuously improve overall level of performance in their role and for future developmentConducts district sales meetings to guide teamSupports the team members on external key customer visits as neededAuthorityBudget spend within agreed parametersPSR' (Product Specialist Representatives') expensesImplementation of POA for districtPSR recruitment/ disciplinary proceduresOutputsAgreed regional sales goals and other performance expectationsAdministration and reporting requirementsCompliance with Amgen policies and proceduresIndividual team member performance objectivesMAP – appraisal and development plansWINHere's what it takes to WinWe are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.
We seek a candidate with these qualifications. Minimum Requirements>3 years track-record of success in pharmaceutical sellingDemonstrated leadership abilitiesExperience with computer systems (CRM databases and MS Office)Very good working knowledge of English, both in oral and written communicationRelevant local legal qualificationPreferred Requirements8+ years of industry experience in sales and marketing roles (hospital market)Proven experience of managing a team – at least 3 yearsBachelor's degree in life science or (bio) medical sciencesExperienced in Onco/Hema therapeutic areaExperience in costumer engagement and multichannelExperience in interacting with various functions and organizational levelsExperience in project managementPrevious experience in Marketing and/or Market AccessPrevious experience interacting with Management Team members and with International functionsPreferably located in one of the following regions: Lombardia e PiemonteTHRIVESome of the vast rewards of working hereAs we work to develop treatments that take care of others, so we work to care for our teammates' professional and personal growth and well-being.
