Regional Category Manager Indirect Purchasing Emea
Join our team and Be You Be Aptar. Aptar is seeking a EMEA Purchasing Category Manager – Capex /Indirect based in Aptar Chieti – Pescara area in hybrid mode. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for piloting a Regional Category Management Team in Europe on a cross-segment basis for the relevant categories – Assembly machines, production equipment, and other indirect projects/categories. As a EMEA Purchasing Category Manager – Capex /Indirect, You Will Lead the development of the Sourcing strategy for the Categories Lead and coordinate the implementation of the Sourcing strategy Deliver Purchasing performance for his/her categories Manage relationships with key suppliers of the categories Consolidate the internal needs, select the panel of target suppliers, and manage the relationships with key suppliers Assemble, report KPIs for the categories and lead implementation of improvement actions Ensure relevant communication on the categories within the CMT and with other stakeholders Lead EMEA indirect purchasing projects and initiatives Education Master's degree level specialized in Purchasing Required Skills 8 years in Purchasing with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the assigned categories Excellent knowledge of the English language Strong negotiation skills Stakeholder Management Good communication skills Preferred Skills Technical background Ability to work in an international environment Travel Requirements 30% Who We Are At Aptar, we leverage insights, design, engineering, and science to develop cutting-edge packaging technologies that enhance brand value for our clients and make a significant impact on people's lives globally.
