We are committed to fostering an inclusive, innovative, and employee-centric work environment, and we are seeking an experienced Regional Europe HR Director to support the Allegro European organization, which is primarily Engineering and Sales, across multiple European countries.
Summary:
As a Regional Europe HR Director at Allegro Microsystems Europe, reporting to the Senior Vice President/CHRO, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive human resources strategies, tools, services, and support to several countries across Europe, ensuring alignment with our corporate goals and values.
Your leadership will be pivotal in driving talent excellence, enhancing organizational performance, and promoting a vibrant workplace culture and work environment that enables Allegro to achieve the business goals and objectives to drive continuous growth across this important Region.
What You'll Do:
- Consult to all European clients, with Direction from US functional executives and HR Directors, to develop and implement European HR strategies that support business goals, emphasizing talent management, succession planning, organizational scaling, and employee engagement/culture. - Partner with Functional HR Directors to help establish the annual workforce plan for the European Region.
Oversee, and provide guidance on the local recruitment processes, to ensure we attract, hire, and retain top-tier talent. - Foster a culture of continuous learning.
Identify training needs and work with the Corporate L&D team for support, or secure local training programs and oversee any local delivery. - Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
Conduct thorough investigations and ensure compliance with country specific labor laws and regulations, in partnership with internal counsel.
Ensure that functional HR is well-informed of local ER issues.
Responsible for management and oversight of any works councils required. - Drive the Corporate annual performance management process and performance improvement processes; ensure the annual processes are fully executed across all European organizations.
Provide performance management coaching and guidance on career development, and ensure teams are aligned with company goals and objectives. - Provide input to the Corporate Compensation and Benefits organization on market competitive practices across Europe.
Ensure that all programs adhere to country regulations and statutory compliance.
Provide local support during annual compensation program planning processes. - Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives, ensuring our workforce reflects the communities we serve. - Lead all cultural/core value related activities across the European population.
Support all employee engagement activities to increase employee satisfaction and overall retention of talent.
Work with local European leaders in driving effective communication, global collaboration, and alignment around company goals.
Facilitates all change management activities. - Use HR metrics through Workday/People Analytics to make informed decisions, track performance, and identify areas of improvement. - Provide direction, coaching, and support to HR team members, and Office Managers across the Region who assist on HR matters.
Partner closely with all Corporate HR functional team members.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Master's/MBA preferred. - Minimum of 15 years of HR experience with at least 7 years in a managerial role working across multiple HR functional disciplines with multinational companies- Demonstrated experience in organizational design and talent management. - Experience working across multiple European countries and diverse cultures. - M&A experience required, especially on integration of newly acquired teams. - Fluent in English and Italian.
Additional European languages are a plus - especially German and French- Strong understanding of European labor laws and regulations - especially French work councils- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills. - Ability to think strategically, work independently, and be self-motivated to execute and drive results. - Proficient with HRIS systems and HR analytics tools.
Workday HCMS platform experience is preferred. - Ability and willingness to regularly travel across Europe to stay connected with the local teams.
