Regional Industrial Controller
For our client, a multinational specializing in the technological field, we are looking for a
**Regional Industrial Controller.
The individual is part of the Key Country Management team and reports solid line to the Head of Controlling/FP&A Europe.
This figure will handle the following activities:
- Act as business partner for the Key Country President
- Analyze financial performance and propose actions in the area of top line, margins, costs and cashflow to improve the overall business performance; recommend benchmarks and highlight key areas for improvement; drive initiatives like cost-out programs, NWC optimization etc.
- Optimize and prioritize the resource allocation for Capex and Opex
- Manage group wide planning activities for OSS Italy, particularly budget, 5-year-business plan and monthly rolling forecasts
- Efficiently cooperate with the Region's joint FP&A team
- Provide the full set of monthly financial reporting to KC management; conduct financial business reviews with the Key Country and associated Country organization
- Perform reporting tasks in the course of the monthly closing activities and prepare corresponding management presentations
- Maintain active and smooth relationships into the group's Finance & Accounting organization and provide input for the teams as needed
- Ensure alignment with group financial governance, standards and processes
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis on request of Key Country, Region, OSS division and group functions
- Assume active role in Key Country projects related to M&A, IT enhancements, cost allocation
- Support the division's FP&A Center of Excellence to drive standardization and automation of FP&A processes across all regions
**Skills**:
- Recommended but not mandatory Degree in Finance, Accounting or Industrial Engineering and Management
- Minimum experience of 5 years in a manufacturing company
- Intimate knowledge of SAP + MS Office suite of products, specifically Excel
- Sales and manufacturing controlling skills: product calculation/cost transparency
- Track-record in M&A processes and post-merger integration of acquired businesses
- Good IFRS accounting know how and perfect understanding of financial contexts
- Proven leadership skills in a matrix organization
- Excellent level of English
