**What's The Role?
**:
An exciting opportunity is available for a Regional People Business Partner to join our team in Italy and support a number of global entities.
As a trusted advisor to the Executive Officer - International Production (ZGS) and their leadership team, the key focus of this role is to deliver people strategies and best practice to support the delivery of business plans through people.
It is an excellent opportunity partner with the Executive/s and their Leadership team/s to develop and execute and annual People Plan that ensure delivery of Zespri's People Strategy and prioritizes Business Unit-specific people activities.
This is a hybrid role and will be based from our Aprilia office however there will be an expectation to travel to Bologna on a regular basis.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide input into People Strategy decisions and deploy initiatives across the Business Unit partnered on behalf of the People Team across Italy, Greece, South Korea and Japan.
- Build your credibility as a strong trusted advisor and coach to the relevant Executive/s and Leadership team/s, peer, and the broader People Team.
- Lead the delivery of annual people processes within relevant Business Unit's partnered.
- Lead Engagement, Capability, Organisational Design, Workforce Plans, Talent Management, Remuneration, Safety & Wellbeing and Change projects across your Business Unit/s in partnership with People Team Centres of Expertise and Executives
- Partner with Leader and the Talent Acquisition Team to deliver resourcing and talent acquisition requirements, in line with Zespri's overall Talent Acquisition Strategy and business requirements.
- Partner with leaders across the business to support job design, change, performance improvement, disciplinary and other employment matters in line with Zespri's overall frameworks, escalating more complex and challenging matters for support.
- Facilitate capability programs/interventions to support our people to continue to develop, in alignment with Zespri's People Strategy.
- Coach, facilitate and coordinate change delivery plans through the leadership team/s you partner with, to deliver successful implementation of Zespri's transformation programme.
- Partner closely with the People & Payroll Advisors and the PeopleZone team to ensure seamless delivery of operational people priorities and processes across the business.
- Act as an advocate for Zespri's culture, values, and purpose with the business.
- Champion safety and wellbeing across Zespri.
Work in partnership with the Safety and Wellbeing Team to implement Safety and Wellbeing Plan for your Business Unit/s.
- Responsible as Regional People Lead for the Region, as the most senior People leader to manage local employment/legislative issues and foster a collaborative regional cross-functional People team.

- Excellent coaching, influencing, networking and facilitation skills
- Be a key expert across a combination of change management, employment relations, talent development, succession planning and organisational design
- The ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
- Strong business and commercial acumen
- Proven cross-cultural competence (and ideally have worked globally)
- Excellent written and verbal language skills - in both Italian and English
- A degree level (or higher) qualification, preferably in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Business Management
