HAS - Huber AgroSolutions (consists of Biolchim, Cifo, Miller and Ilsa), a business unit within Huber Engineered Materials, is a global leader in the manufacturing and distribution of bio-stimulants, crop nutrition, adjuvants, plant growth regulators, and specialty agro chemicals.
The Company is currently operating in more than 90 countries and intends to significantly grow over the next few years.
**THIS POSITION CAN BE REMOTELY BASED IN ITALY.
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales, marketing, financial and structural strategies across his/her region for the HAS products, operating in the region via local subsidiaries and supported by territory sales managers.
**Main Responsibilities
- Develop and review long
- and short-term sales strategies for the region.
- Establish and maintain relationships with distributors within the region to identify needs, suggest solutions, and find opportunities for HAS products.
- Set-up price list for the region for the different products following the Company's guidelines for product positioning.
- Oversea the subsidiaries' activity and financial performance.
- Travel along with the sales team, provide guidance, technical support, and assist with business development opportunities through existing relationships and by tapping into untouched markets.
- Manage product supply chain logistics and problem solving, provide input to production scheduling, serve as liaison between sales team and manufacturing.
- Oversee and coordinate regulatory activity with the regulatory team.
- Set clear targets for the region and hold the team accountable to deliver on these expectations.
- Provide the necessary support to the sales team to enable them to generate market leads and close new deals.
- Ensure new product research and development activity to address unmet product needs.
- Develop and implement new programs, sales initiatives, and strategies to capture market share.
- Prepare monthly sales reports, forecast, and budget.
- Identify market trends in designated countries and ensure resources are deployed to deliver on these opportunities.
- Identify and drive M&A opportunities and other strategic alliances that support the Company's strategy and vision.
**Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Crop Science, Agronomy or equivalent work experience in specialty agricultural product development and marketing support
- Sales team management experience
- Extensive knowledge of regional crops, distributors, and customers
- Strong knowledge of sales in agricultural specialty products (adjuvants, specialty fertilizer, specialty pesticides)
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve objectives in a timely manner
- Ability to motivate and lead a team
- Strategic thinking, strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in English
- Willingness to travel
