***What are we looking for?
***Key responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to**:
Duties of a Regional Sales Manager may include training, mentoring, and motivating channel partners in the assigned territory; generating additional demand through partner events; studying the market for newer trends and reporting the same to the management, monitoring pricing policies in the market; managing channel conflicts; and fostering relationships between channel partners and end-users.
Responsibility to identify and qualify prospect End user and Reseller in the assigned region or vertical market; Focus: new partner acquisition, profitable growth.
Independently manage meetings with identified prospect end-user and reseller
Closely cooperate with the Sales Director and Regional Account Managers, in particular after identifying a project
Follow up on a project to ensure that the reseller performs their duties.
Support the reseller to close the project by providing the necessary information, as needed, in particular in regard to offerings and marketing material and in conjunction with the Sales Director
Hunt/Net New Customer and reseller acquisition -> cold calls to non-DataCore customers and resellers
Using all modern communication tolls, to validate a prospect end-user and reseller and schedule meetings with prospect end-users.
Presentation of DataCore, DataCore products and especially DataCore's value proposition to the identified prospect end-user
Analyze the region or vertical market and seek for alternative ways to attract prospect end-user.
Meet assigned sales quota and reporting requirements.
Participate in trade fairs and marketing events.
Provision of weekly, revenue forecasts to the Sales Director
Quarterly evaluations of results for the assigned territory
**Essential knowledge, skills and abilities required**:
2-5 years Field Sales experience in the Enterprise IT industry
Ideally coming from other IT vendor experience in same field is welcomed, in same role & function
Hunting sales mentality and passionate about setting and achieving goals.
Hands on experience with Salesforce (preferred) or other CRM systems
Excellent relationship building skills are essential.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and organizational skills are needed in order to work successfully with prospects, customers, and cross functional teams to meet performance goals.
Empathy and project management skills
Structured thinking as well as independent work and teamwork are key strengths.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail
Open, positive attitude, interested in Technology and how it shapes the future world.
Mother tongue level, written and verbal communication skills in Italian is essential, very good English language skills are required.
Additional languages are an advantage, but not a requirement.
**Preferred Education and Experience**:
Bachelor's degree or professional education, preferably in Engineers/MBAs with 2-3 years of experience in Software as a Service.
Prior experience as Regional Account Manager being a Storage Specialist in the IT-industry, in both, New-Partner as well as End-user acquisition is key.
At least two years of proven success working in same role and / or
Two years of solutions sales experience, selling software or high-tech offerings and solutions.
