Regional Sales Manager [Clean-water Pumps, Industrial] (Exp. w/ manufacturers reps req. ) Territory: Northeast US States (from SC north to ME, PA, WV, KY, OH, MI, IN, IL, WI) Location: must reside within territory and near major airport, work from home when not traveling Salary: $105, 000 - $115, 000 (DOE) Base + Commission (~average $30k, Uncapped) + Car Allowance Benefits: Health, 401(k) w/match, Vacation/PTO, Holidays, Compensation of travel expenses Travel: 40-50% within territory Start Date: ASAP Sponsorship is not available Regional Sales Manager [Clean-water Pumps, Industrial] Description Our client is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to add to their team and to cover the Northeast territory of the US. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing the sale of products through different manufacturer representatives across a designated territory, by supporting and evaluating existing manufacturers' representatives, finding and attaining new ones, as well as providing technical training. Our client is looking for someone with at least three (3) years of experience working with manufacturers' representatives, working knowledge of pump systems for commercial or industrial applications, in addition to prior technical sales experience. To be successful in this role, you must be willing to travel within the territory and have great communication and organizational skills. Regional Sales Manager [Clean-water Pumps, Industrial] Responsibilities • Support and evaluate existing manufacturers' representatives
• Participate in trade shows and actively travel to find and attain new representatives
• Provide technical training to new customers
• Coordinate with applications engineering teams on quotations for the representatives
• Participate in the negotiation of pricing and other commercial terms with the representatives
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on progress and sales forecasts
• Maintain a minimum level of calls, visits and training to develop awareness of the products
• Issue expense reports in a timely manner
Regional Sales Manager [Clean-water Pumps, Industrial] Qualifications • 3+ years of working with manufacturer representatives required
• Knowledge of pump systems in commercial/industrial applications required
• Technical sales experience required
• CRM experience required
• Must be willing to travel 40-50% of the time within territory
