Job Description:
Regional Sales ManagerHuntsman has a rare opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to build a market and customer focussed organisation in our Adhesives, Coatings and Composites range across the South European region. Working as part of the Regional Sales Management team and reporting to the EMEA Sales Director, you will be leading a small team of Sales /Account Managers and tasked with developing business opportunities across Spain, Italy Greece and Turkey regions whilst ensuring strong customers relationships are maintained. As the Regional Sales Manager, you will:
Develop and execute the strategic sales plan for the assigned markets, in order to achieve the agreed sales targets and to expand the companys customer base. Propose annual sales targets (volume / value pricing / margin) and achieve agreed targets, including gap closure plans as needed. Lead, coach and develop the sales team to meet goals and optimize work processes. Establish and manage commercial contracts as required in close co-operation with legal and finance. Work closely with marketing teams to agree & deliver annual NBD plans. Ensure compliance with company standards regarding Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) and Ethics, both for self and team.
Ensure full compliance with Competition Laws. Be the pricing excellence champion for your teamEnsure that reliable management information and forecasts are produced and reported. Obtain accurate market intelligence and share with the business team. Evaluate current sales operational methodologies and identify and implementprocess improvements in close co-operation with the commercial excellence manager and supply chain teamsSupport Marketing team in the development of business strategies. Skills & Experience Required:
Degree qualified in a business or chemical discipline with previous commercial sales experience within the in specialty chemicals related to the Component & Adhesives markets. Prior experience leading direct reports with the ability to coach and develop a high performance team. Proactive approach to identify new business opportunities with a passion for continuous improvement within a commercial function.
Complete fluency both written and spoken in Italian and English. Strong communication skills to build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders (marketing, innovation teams etc) and external customers. The Job holder will be expected to spend a significant proportion of their time travelling on customer business or for internal meetings/events. About Huntsman:
