Regional Sales Manager - Italy & Adriatic Region Reporting to: International Sales Director

Actions: Acquire local knowledge of regional requirements. Identify potential new markets and install new distributors (in coordination with the International Director). Bring new specifications to new markets in the regions. Visit distributors and key specifiers and maintain regular contact. Train distributor personnel. Support implementation of the company's strategy. Identify potential needs for support (i. e. , marketing, technical, etc. ). Identify project opportunities and interaction of specifiers and contractors. Initiate and track progress of all specifications by visit and/or telephone, recording outcomes in CRM. Requisiti: Education & Qualifications: Structural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering HNC or equivalent. Fluent in English and Italian (spoken, reading, and writing). Experience: A background in the construction/engineering/specification industry. Specification selling experience. Managing & motivating a distributor network. Used to regular business travel. Experience working in a technical environment. Understanding of the Italian market. Skills & Knowledge: Ability to communicate at all levels within a business environment. Understanding of the construction industry and allied trades. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Team working and the ability to motivate others. Understanding of technical issues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems. Negotiation skills. Sales skills/training. Personal Attributes: Personable and enthusiastic. Pro-active and flexible. Self-motivated and outgoing. Ability to work hands-on and communicate at all levels. Understands regional accountability. A highly self-motivated and outgoing personality.
